Support from Angeles Art Fund has been deeply impactful over the past 6 years for LAND. There are not many funding sources available to small, Los Angeles-based nonprofits with such a clear guiding principle. Grants have closed the gap for some of LAND’s most ambitious public projects, supporting artists from Jose Davila to Kahlil Joseph and Jackie Amezquita. As LAND’s scale and ambitions have grown, support from Angeles Art Fund has given us the confidence to pursue evermore experimental projects and practices. The collective fundraising model has provided tangible support as well as modeling new forms of patronage that we strive to pass along in the ways we uplift artists and collaborators. Thank you for championing this work and community of artists in such a profound way.
